What to Order
Hanger Steak (Steak Frites)
A classic French bistro staple, this steak is cooked to perfection and served with crispy fries and a generous dollop of mayonnaise.
"My order needed to be classic but not pedestrian, so I chose the cured salmon, served over a bed of thinly sliced cabbage, dressed with cream, lemon, and dill, and garnished with radish and micro-greens. Wow, this was such a surprise. I was blown away. Great fish, paired with a salad I would have never considered, a true win. For my main, I ordered the hanger steak (Aka Steak Frites) along with a wine of the server's choosing after letting him know what I usually enjoy. The steak was great, served with hotel butter, cooked to perfection. On the side were the fries, hot and crisp, with a fluffy interior and a generous serving of mayo."

Boudin Noir aux Pommes
This blood sausage dish is rich and flavorful, often served with apples, and is a surprisingly delicious and memorable experience.
"I also highly recommend the Boudin noix aux pommes, it was rich and flavorful. My boyfriend even stepped out of his comfort zone to try this blood sausage dish, and he ended up enjoying it as well."

Fish Soup with Croutons and Rouille
A hearty and flavorful fish soup, served with crispy croutons and a homemade rouille, a classic French accompaniment.
"La soupe de poisson avec ses croutons et sa rouille maison est pour moi le coup de coeur du repas, je l avais pris a mon jeune age et elle est tjrs en tete de peloton avec les restaurants du style de l express pour ne pas les nommer."

Cornichons and Dijon Mustard
A complimentary and essential part of the L'Express experience, the massive jar of perfect cornichons and spicy Dijon mustard are a must-try with the bread and butter.
"After choosing my meal, the waiter set a massive container of cronichon on the table with bread, butter, and mustard. Don't skip tasting them—the cronichon are pure perfection, and the mustard is spicy and tart, a classic dijon."
