Pavlova (with sour cherries and chocolate / pear)
A delightful dessert with a perfectly crisp exterior and chewy center, offering a balanced combination of sweet and sour flavors.
"The dessert would have me coming back again and again; pavlova with sour cherries and chocolate. Perfectly crisp with the ideal chewy textured center and the combo of sour and sweet was exactly what we needed at the end of the meal."

Negroni (selection)
Riviera is known for its impressive selection of Negronis, often cited as some of the best in Ottawa.
"My lovely partner took me to the Riviera for my birthday! What a cool spot! The service was stellar. The staff take excellent care of everyone and ensure you've got all you need. We had the mushrooms on toast as an app and honestly, it was divine. I could have had this as my main. I had the salmon which was perfectly cooked. While I liked the pureed carrots there was quite a lot and it was served with charred radicchio. While I enjoy radicchio in a salad the bitterness was overwhelming even when eaten with the sweet carrots and detracted from the overall meal. The cocktails were wonderful, highly recommend the Pear Pressure and their Negroni selection is impressive. The dessert would have me coming back again and again; pavlova with sour cherries and chocolate. Perfectly crisp with the ideal chewy textured center and the combo of sour and sweet was exactly what we needed at the end of the meal."

Pear Pressure (cocktail)
A highly recommended cocktail, praised for its wonderful balance and unique flavor profile.
"Only had drinks at the bar but they were great. Tried the pear pressure, London calling, heat is on and welcome to the jungle and they were all great cocktails. Service was good, I’d come back for sure! Beautiful place ◡̈"
